Last week I came across a peculiar question from one of my patients Mr Rahul.
Rahul said, "I'm having pain in my tooth Doc, can you help me?"
I said, "I said sure Rahul let me have a look".

When I peeked in, I was baffled! Rahul was a middle
-aged man, with a heavy build. Rahul had a few missing teeth and a broken tooth in the lower back region, which was troubling him.
"Rahul unfortunately, we have to remove your broken tooth, it's beyond saving. After removal, we have to also replace the teeth you have lost".
But I can eat without teeth why should I need fixed teeth? said
Rahul, looking puzzled.
I started thinking, Why would people disregard the importance of tooth &chewing?
Our bodies have some amazing resilience, they can adapt beautifully. This is what happens when people lose their teeth one by one. The adaptation is so good that we do not realize that we are adapting to the compromised situation (missing teeth).
Slowly we start to avoid eating hard, crunchy foods, We start to rely on soft food, more bakery or refined foods, which are very bad for our health. People forget what they have been missing, and what compromises they are doing while eating.
With fixed teeth, you can reap the following benefits
Your teeth look new & clean
You have an awesome smile ,which is loved by your friends& family
You do not shy away from flaunting your smile
You start enjoying the company of your friends
Attend parties and marriage functions & spend some memorable moments with your near & dear ones
Eat what you want, and do not hold yourself back, just because you do not have teeth.
Live your life again... after all, why we are here on this planet, to live our life to the full, right?
With the beautiful advancement in dental technologies, we can now give fixed teeth to people who have lost one tooth or all teeth, YES! even people without teeth can now have fixed teeth & transform their lives.
